From thousands to millions

Hearing new cases every day

That’s the place it began
You travel across the nation not to be kind
But to instil fear in our lives
People are suffering
Old ones are dying
Young ones know nothing
Back then, there were no worries
Everybody visited families and friends
Teachers and students met face to face
Shops, supermarkets full of crowds
But since you are here…
Everything has changed

The 90 years old grandpa
The 19 years old teen and
The late 40’s man and woman
We look at each other’s eyes
Corona has come to our town
Gazing at the oldest one
Some realms I owned, his patience and grit
I had once lost his other half 45 years ago
I really miss her, but it wasn’t a disaster
Gazing at the youngest one

Worry takes over my life
For we never know what his future going to be like
Together we hold hands
Together we stay safe

Now we are living with it
