YOUNG CONNECTION SPOTLIGHTS

INTRODUCING: Rebecca Litscher
SP Fitness

Becca was born and raised in Wausau WI. While growing up she was on
the swim team and a Varsity High Jumper on the track team starting her
Freshman year. During her senior year she enlisted in the Army. At the age
of 20, Becca was deployed for a 15-month tour to Iraq driving fuel tankers
and transporting fuel.
When Becca returned home from Iraq, she attended college at the
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and received her Bachelor of Science
Degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in Archaeology. She moved to
Madison where she would work with the Museum of Archeology
Program (MAP) and later continue for her Masters at the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Physical Anthropology. During her graduate
studies she worked at Covance in Madison where she met her husband
Nathan Litscher.
During Becca’s mid-Twenties she started seeing a personal trainer who
would end up changing her life and career paths. It was through personal
training that Becca was able to strengthen her knee that she had obtained
a disability on in Iraq, get rid of her anxiety medications for good and lose
55 pounds going into her first bodybuilding show. After 7 armature
bodybuilding shows she finally earned her PRO status and competed in two
World bodybuilding shows. During this time of competing Becca decided to leave anthropology behind and start working
for a corporate gym as a membership director, then as a trainer and as a Fitness Manager. During her corporate time, she
married Nathan Litscher and they had their first child Owen who is now 3.
During their second pregnancy, with Jordan Jane who is now 1, they relocated to Prairie du Sac and built out in the
country. She left her corporate job and started a small personal training and nutrition counseling studio, SP Fitness,
located on Water Street in Sauk City. After one year she outgrew her space and needed to hire more trainers to help
service the clientele that were coming to her. She also added small group fitness classes. Well, 6 months in her new
location and she is expanding again to add more space and more services so that she and her team can help even more
clientele.
Becca is passionate about health and wellness and has brought a team together that share the same values of Healthy
Living. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family in the outdoors, gardening, fishing, hunting, hiking and up
north at her parent’s lake house fishing and eating an occasional s’more.
Becca is excited to be a business owner and member of the Sauk Prairie community. She is excited to raise her family here
and to see what the future holds!
