You Light Up My Life…Sauk Prairie

How do you light up my life, you may ask? The out-pouring of participation we had for the Fall
Decorating Contest was absolutely fabulous! We literally got calls from locals and people
passing through town at how festive everything looked. Hats off to you all! We have to keep
that festive spirit going into the Holiday season. It’s crucial people!

Holiday TOOLS (no, not a staple gun Clark)

December 1st is Holly Jolly Sauk Prairie, a community wide holiday celebration.  This 2nd annual
community wide event is a way to encourage shopping, eating, and engagement from locals
and the surrounding area. And this year we have added a chili cook-off (an easy way to get
listed in our FREE advertising). Other ideas to participate in Holly Jolly:

  • Open House

  • A DIY project

  • Give-a-ways

  • Team up with another business/independent consultant

  • Music/live band

  • Food pairings or Appetizers

  • Hot Coco or Apple Cider

  • Sales/discounts

  • Carolers

  • Pictures w/Santa

  • Learning/Creative Activity

Blinded By The Light

The Holiday Light Parade is also December 1st this
year and is a great way to foster community pride and
get your business noticed in a non-traditional way.
We have even amped up our pre-show with TV-43
this year so you wouldn’t want to miss out on the
FREE advertising you get just by being in the parade!
Remember this Holiday season:
It all starts and ends with local. That’s Sauk Prairie. It’s
about supporting your neighbors.
