YOUNG CONNECTION SPOTLIGHTS

  INTRODUCING: Haley Martin
Crew Leader at Blue Spoon Cafe

Haley Martin has worked in the restaurant industry for the past
ten years. She has been an important part of the Blue Spoon Cafe
team since May of 2015, having started as a member of the crew.
Soon after starting at the Spoon we quickly recognized her
commitment to excellence and her leadership skills and promoted
her to a manager role as Crew Leader. Last October she was
promoted again to the position of Assistant Manager.
In her current role, she leads our team in areas of service,
hospitality, cleanliness and profitability. She also assists in the
training, development and coaching of team members.
As part of the management team she is able to participate in
Manager Workshop classes offered by Culver Franchising System.
These workshops have enhanced Haley’s ability to build guest
loyalty, lead great shifts, and communicate effectively and
positively. In addition she has received training in risk
management and quality assurance. 2018 will be a busy year for
her as she continues her manager training in areas such as crew
development, recruiting and hiring, legal compliance, time
management, performance management and marketing.
Haley is a 2008 graduate of Sun Prairie High School and has lived in the Sauk Prairie area since 2010. In her spare
time she enjoys summer gardening, hiking Sauk and Columbia County trails and swimming. She has a passion for
volleyball and plays year round. She especially loves spending free time with her two year old daughter
Annabelle and her partner, Alex.
Haley says the best part of working at the Blue Spoon is “meeting and serving the great people of Sauk Prairie
and working with the best team ever!”
