The Best Summer I Ever Had

I ran upstairs with my dog and decided to check

it out the next day to see if the opening would
return.

The following afternoon, while walking in the

backyard, I noticed the opening again. This time,

something was different - the sky was violet!
Suddenly I heard someone calling my name.

Cautiously, I answered, “Hello, who is calling me?”

The voice said, “I’m Rosie and I need help.”

“With what?” I asked. “With my sky, every day it

changes colour and I don’t know why. Can you
come in and check it out?”

“I don’t know, it’s getting late. How about

tomorrow?” I responded.

“OK,” Rosie replied. “See you tomorrow, Bye.”

I went into the house.
