The Legend of Grenada’s Blue Donkey

When Phillip ran into the kitchen, there was a huge

grin on his face and his eyes were dancing with
excitement. “Mom, you won’t BELIEVE the dream

I just had!” He told her every detail about his

dream. “Maybe I could have found the legendary

blue donkey,’’ he said. ‘‘Oh really? I hope you do

find him, so we can sell him and get lots of money
for groceries and your favourite ice cream!’’ his

mom replied. They both laughed at that silly idea.

After breakfast, Phillip ran upstairs to shower and

get dressed for school. He could not wait to tell all
his friends about his little adventure.
