The Suffering of Ecochoko
That is when Pollution, along with her friends, Fire,
Smoke, Noise, Lumberjack and Garbage, destroyed
his beautiful village. Everyone missed Eco and
wished that he was still around. Many came to
mourn his suffering. The plant community suffered
as a drought had already begun.
The Marine Life Squad members were still there; at
least, what was left of them. The birds that should
have flown high in the sky struggled to walk as
their wings were stuck from oil spills and they
could not take flight. The worst part of it all was
that they could not even walk on Eco’s favorite
beach as Garbage had piled all the debris so high
that there was no space for movement and
Lumberjack had cut down most of the trees,
including his favorite cherry blossom tree.
The moral of the story and Eco’s motto is “Be good
to Mother Nature and the ecosystem and never let
Pollution sneak her way in.”
