A Day at the Beach

ne Easter Monday I was in my bedroom

sleeping, trying to rest myself after a difficult
school term. My mother suddenly came in and

slapped me on my leg. I was so frightened

I jumped up. “Get ready”, she said, we are going

to a special place today”.

I got up took a bath and went to have my

breakfast that was waiting for me. anxious to

know where my mother was taking me. When I

finish having my breakfast. She said we are going

to the beach.
