Our Tourism Experience
The children rushed down the slippery concrete
with no one being injured. “SPLASH” the water
aroused as someone dived into the water. “Oh my!
Is he or she ok?” Jade stuttered in awe. The man
was fine, he had been doing that to entertain the
tourists. As another diver was diving, Jade took a
few pictures while Jara and Mia were looking for
animal life near the waterfall. Sadly, they couldn’t
find many animals but colorful butterflies and
Grenada’s National dove, Leptotila Wellsi, that the
girls took pictures of. They next followed the guide
down to the river. The tourists put their feet into
the warm water from the waterfall. A few minutes
later, they got onto the bus and left for their next
destination. All the tourists looked like they were
intrigued in the scenery of this lovely island.
Before reaching their second destination, they
encountered Grenada’s rainbow tree. It’s a
beautiful stop along the side of the road as you go
up to Grand Etang Lake, and worth a quick stop for
photos so the bus stopped to take pictures
because many of the ecotourists demanded the
