The Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ ) is an award, which represents the achievement of a
set of competencies that define the essential (core) work practices of an occupational area consistent
with the levels articulated within the Regional Qualifications Framework. The related content,
activities, teaching and assessment strategies crucial to the development of these critical workplace
competencies are integrated in the applicable CAPE® units within the CXC®-AD offerings.

Grade Points

The grades awarded by CXC® can be equated to Grade Points as shown in the table below.
