BUILDING & Candidates pursuing Option 3B (Building
MECHANICAL Drawing) will complete the following SBA
ENGINEERING Assignments:
DRAWING (cont’d)
Assignment 1
Candidates will be expected to produce
drawings based on Specific Objectives 1 and 2 of
Module 1.
Assignment 2
Candidates will be expected to produce ONE
drawing based on Specific Objectives 3 and 4 of
Module 1.
Assignment 3
Candidates will be expected to produce ONE
drawing based on any two of the following
objectives: Specific objectives 2, 3, 4, and 5 of
Module 2.
Assignment 4
Candidates will be expected to produce ONE
drawing based on specific objectives 1, 2, 3, and
4 of Module 3B.

N.B. The mark Scheme for each assignment was
adjusted and sent to the Local Registrars along
with the instructions in a memo dated 8 February
2021. Copies can be provided upon request as
they are too large to place in this document.

CARIBBEAN Research Project No adjustment necessary. Candidates should be
STUDIES able to complete tasks using available
technology.

CHEMISTRY 1. The number of practical assignments to be
reduced to FIVE.
2. Each skill (Plan and Design, Observation,
Recording and Reporting, Analysis and
Interpretation, Manipulation and
Measurement) should be assessed at least
TWICE.
3. At most THREE skills to be assessed by a single
lab.
4. The investigative project remains the same as
stipulated in the syllabus.
