Flying Kites

We always compete to see whose kite will go the

farthest. We also compete for whose kite can fly

the best and longest before bursting or pulling in

the late evening.

When we arrive at the spot, we join our pieces of

nylon to the compass and make sure it is done

properly. With our kites all set for take-off, we

wait for a strong wind to come.

When it does appear, we throw our kites one at a
time because we all help each other get our kites
