They held each other and prayed that Amanda

would get better. Later that night, a doctor came
out and to their relief, they were told that Amanda

would be fine but that she needed a couple of

days’ rest and a soft diet, which had to include

some good old ginger tea to aid with her

recovery.

Since that day, Amanda vowed to research all the

possible poisonous plants in St Vincent and the

Grenadines.
