The chef said that there was not enough

coconuts, breadfruits and salt meat. How would
we ever get to make the local dish – oildown.

There weren’t even enough passion fruits to make

the juice. When I heard the news I started to

panic. I asked one of my friends to go to the

supermarket to see if she could get some of the
things that were missing.

While we were setting up she came back with only

the salt meat and coconuts. I then asked my other
friend to call her cousin for the breadfruit and

passion fruit. When she finished talking to her

cousin, I was so happy to hear her say that his

family said that they would bring all the stuff for

me. I was so glad that we Grenadians love to help
each other, otherwise I don’t know what I would

have done.

The time finally came and it was time to begin the
Grand Opening of my new and improved design

shop. My mind was able to relax just a little bit
