At The Beach
The water was losing its sparkle, as the waves
broke on the shore with a loud crashing sound.
The water grabbed the sand aggressively as it
went back out to sea, leaving deep holes on its
way.
My brothers and I played in the sand while our
parents and aunt watched us. There were just a
few people on the beach so it was quite peaceful.
My brother, Daniel, and I eventually jumped into
the tempting sea as our aunt, parents and baby
brother stayed on the sand to watch. It was
icy-cold! Cold tremors trickled from my big toes
all the way up to my head. I was shivering! I stood
still in the water until it started to feel warm.
I breathed a sigh of relief; then, I swam out to
meet my brother who was already ahead of me.
