Today we are living in a fast changing complex society, which presents before us
challenges as well as opportunities. We can never stop learning as life never stops

teaching. It all depends on every individual how one responds to the situation with
the right mind-set.

Our mission at DPS Newtown is to aspire to transform our ‘little angels’ into
productive members of society by ensuring to impart education in such a way that

the child becomes a good human being and an overall individual ready to face
challenges of life. Quality of education does not only mark academic excellence but
gives space to develop as independent thinkers. Education is holistic learning-

encompassing everything that ensures the all-round development of every child.
Along with this, we truly believe in inculcating a strong value system in our

children- qualities such as respect, discipline, caring for others, being selfless,
being ethical and above all develop integrity of character. We are delighted to have
with us a concerted team and are always grateful to our ever supportive parents,

who have helped us in this wonderful endeavour of accomplishment and growth.
I congratulate all students and teachers for their hard work and dedication for

making this e-magazine. I am sure that the positive attitude, team work, sustained
efforts and innovative ideas exhibited by our young children will surely stir the
mind of the readers and take them to the world of unalloyed joy and pleasure.
