Mother Angel
Divyansi Patra, Class 5
A lady in the hospital
Looked into my small, round face,
When no one was there at all
She said, “So here we meet after waiting for days.”
I looked at her and thought deeply
“Why is she looking so fondly at me!”
Her face seemed a little godly-
She must be some angel of this new country.
Slowly and slowly the days passed.
That angel loved me and took good care.
Now even if ten years have passed
I feel lonely when she is not there. Rajasi Laha, Class 5
The angel at times scolds for this and that;
I think that’s needed to grow up better.
Any difficulty she is there no matter what Quarrel
So, God and the world have named her Mother. Shrijita Singha, Class 3
I quarrelled with my brother in the morning,
Quarrelled Quarrelled Quarrelled.
I quarrelled with my brother in the evening,
Knowing nothing without topic!
Quarrelled Quarrelled Quarrelled.
At night my brother came to me,
And said, “Ok, let it go.
Will you take a bite of chocolate?”
That time I jumped up with a smile,
Aryan Singh, Class 5 Forgot quarrelling and took a bite.
