                            Physical training is carried out three days a week
                     by sill ranks and daily by recruits*
                             (11) Buildings.

                               .(i) Minor repairs have been carried out on the
                     Fort which is in excellent condition apart from the wooden
                     verandahs.

                               (ii) Minor repairs to the hospital.
                              (iii) Five V.C.O.s quarters have now been completedj
                     the work is of surprisingly high standard and was done by
                     the Infantry1 s ov/n pioneers.

               VIII. STATE FINANCES.
                            The total revenue for the year 1942 amounted to
                     &.8,79,356/11/- against Ps.7,00,000 estimated and expendi­

                     ture to ns .6,42,769/14/- against Hs.6,55,800 estimated,
                     leaving a nett balance of 2,36,586/13/- on the year's
                     working.  To this must be added the sum of ?s. 126,326/8/-
                     ttie profit made by the State due to the appreciation of

                     the dollar and the baiza.

                            During the year there were several visits from
