                 Tho above arc the principal pearl banks of the Persian Gulf; but
             there are others also, of less importance, along the shores of the Ituus-
            al-Jibal district, at the Daimaniyat Islands and in tho neighbourhood
             °r B?nc^ar Khairan, all of which are under the jurisdiction of the Sultan
             of 'Oman.
