havo been pueaed by the High Government to Sh9ikh Sir

territories of your Excellency's dominions! The reaaon
why they wore not inforced bofore was clue to tho fact
that. Hie Excellency Shaikh Sir lea made apnoal to Deputy
Political Roaident against tho orders panned by the
Government in tho flrnt. place. Shaikh Inu'n appoal \tao
duly considered by Hin Wajenty'u Government but wuo
din-allowed. The original ordere have, tho^oforo, been
punued on to Shaikh Ioa for oomnllunco.

(1) Two per cent, only to be olmr^od on tranehip
cargo landed on Bahrein plor and ro-ohinnod again within
20 days of t.h9 date of landing at Bahroin. Full.'duty will
bo charged on ouoh gooda if they remain in Bahrein longer
than tho above-mentioned period (20 dn^a).
(2) Ho tax to bo imposed on trannhip oargo, coming
from India or olnewhero and" t.rannf9rr9d direot from nhip
to Jolly boat and taken to doetinatlon.
