Sir:
I am directed by the Duke of Argyle to acknowledge the receipt
of your letter of yesterday's date, enclosing draft of a letter from
Lord Clarendon to the Persian Charge d'Affalres, relating to the
position of the Sheikh of Bahrein, and I am to inform you in reply,
for His Lordship's Information, that His Grace concurs In the views,
which this communication expresses.
