Sir,
With reference to your letter of the 5th instant signifying the
concurrence of the Duke of Argyll in the alterations proposed to be
made in the Letter addressed to General Hadji Mohs in Khan by the
Earl of Clarendon on the 29th of April, upon the subject of the
position of the Sheikh of Bahrein, I am directed by His Lordship to
transmit to you a copy of the Letter in question as it has now been
sent to the Persian Chargee d'Affalres.
