Sir,
I am directed by the Duke of Argyl to acknowledge the receipt
of your letter of the 3rd Instant, .forwarding draft of the answer
which Lord Clarendon proposes to return to the communication which
he has received from the Persian Ch: d'Affalres at this Court, on
the subject of Col. Pelly's proceedings at Bahrein; and in reply, I
am to state that His Grace sees no objection to Lord Clarendon's
proposed letter to Mohsln Khan.
