To

C.S.I•,
Ruler of Bahrain.
Uy esteemed friend,
When 1 was last in Bahrain 1
meant to spook to Tour Highness about
your finances* but 1 too lndlepooed
and had no time.
Nothing giveB me greater pleasure
than to hoar of the prosperity of the
Bahrain State and 1 am glad to know
of the vast revenues derived from the
Oil Company, What 1 wished to soy was
this. The oil ie gradually being used
up and will never return and 1 sincerely
hope that four Highness is Investing as
large a portion^as possible so that
when the oil and its revenues are
exhausted there will still be something
left* When one has had a great deal of
money it is very unpleasant to be reduced
to a small lnoomo and the best way of
avoiding it is to put aside as much as
possible while one still has it.
I desire to express the high
consideration which 1 entertain for four
Highness, and to subscribe myself
four Highness's sincere friend,
