The preceding draft Regulations were approved by the Bombay Govern­
ment and were communicated to the Resident at Bushire, as regulations framed
by Government and were also transmitted to the Governments of Bengal and
Madras for the information and guidance of the Commanders of vessels visiting
the Gulf of Persia from those Presidencies and made generally known also to
