Educated in Bahrain, UK & USA - B.A٠١A٠٨٠.P

Professional Career

After completing his education, in 1969 he started his career in the famiy
business, Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo group of companies. He worked for one
year in Bahrain and then was posted as Assistant Branch Manager in their
Abu Dhabi Office. he set up Kanoo USA Office in Houston in 1975. After
competing his assignments in the United Arab Emirates and attaining the
position as Area Director, he was transferred in 1983 to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
as Area Director and then to Dammam as Managing Director - Saudi Arabia.

n 1995, he was promoted to the position of Group Managing Director at the
Group's headquarters in Bahrain.

PHROCERO

Besides becoming a Partner in 1991 and Group Director of the Holding Board
of the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group in 1992, he is the Chairman of five
companies, Deputy Chairman of two companies and Director of six
companies in the GCC.

He is aso the Founder Chairman of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO)
audi Chapter, Meber of the Board of Director of Bahrai tock Exchange and
1st Deputy Chairma of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and ndustry.

n Government Committees: He is a member of the uprme Nationa Counci
(M١HAO); Member of the Committee to tudy the Reguations of the
Bahrain Municipaity; Member of the Barhain igh Counci for vocationa
raining (ndustria raining Committee).
