W'c also mention Muscat or Onmii, with an area as
large as tlio State ot New York, which has never had but one
missionary. Mucli of tliis field has yet to be oven visited, and its
possibilities will never bo known unless wo have the men to find
them out.
And finally, we want at lenst one man ready to devote him
self to reaching the tribes of the interior, and to open the way to
the. one populous district of Central Arabia, the Xcjd.
In view of this need, which seems so real to those of us who
liavo seen it, it is not asking too much, is it, ot our Lord and
Master, that. He put it into the hearts ot these recruits to offer
themselves for Arabia, and into the hearts of our people to accept
and send thorn ? For our encouragement we know that one of
those eight new workers called for has already gone out. The
Woman’s Board has promised to support two others when found,
one a medical graduate. And the Sioux Co. Syndicate is looking
abroad for their second representative on the field. Thus it does
seem that before long we will be wortliy of our name, and quali-
fied. so far as numbers are concerned, to do our duty in winning-
Arabia to Christ.
Solomon the Wise says that “the prudent man looketh well
to his going.” We have looked around on the opportunities as
they lie before us. We have looked ahead to plan for living up
to them. Xow we appeal to you, with us, to look aboz-c for God’s
approval ancl blessing, so that indeed we may be as prudent men
in all of our “going.”
