wards to Turkish Arabia, a branch of the traffic which doos not affect our
interests directly.
Captain Knox was unfortunately obliged.to take leave. suddenly in May,
having contracted appendicitis, but lie returned to his post, in Octobor quite
restored in health and has remained at it without intermission up to the end of
the year.
