In the Indus Valley in Search of Mcluhha
Mesopotamian hero stands bushy-haired between two erect lions.
Gilgamesh! The legendary King of Uruk, who sailed to Dilmun to
visit the land of his earliest progenitors. The fame of the Gilgamesh
myth had spread beyond Bahrain and had reached the Indus.
To me there was no longer any doubt. I agreed with those
scholars who identified the Indus region with Mcluhha. Mcluhha
could be nothing else. Dilmun, Makan and Meluhha belonged
together. With our ma-gur we had visited all three. And we were
ready to embark on further adventures.
