The following are the names of the Uttoobee rulers
Sheikh Khuleefah ben Mahomed came to the Guttur Coast from Koweit in
1182 at Morals and located there. After a few days he sent for his
Brothers and dependents who came to him in Guttur. An enmity soon
after broke out them and the people of Guttur when they built the
Fort of Zabarah for fear of the Bedoos and their enemies.
No i . Sheikh Khuleefa ben Mahomed took Bahrain In 1197 and died at
Mecca.
No 2. Sheik Ahmed ben Khuleefa then became ruler, in the reign of
Syed Sultan ben Ahmad of Muscat and was Chief there for 7 months.
No 3. Sheik Salman ben Ahmed next became Chief and Abdullah ben
Ahmed his brother became his deputy. The above had two sons named
Khuleefa ben Sulman and Ahmed ben Sulman. Khuleefa ben Sulman had 6
sons viz Nlabd ben Khuleefa, Rashid ben Khuleefa, Ally ben Khuleefa,
Doaij ben Khuleefa, Ebrahim ben Khuleefa and Sulman ben Khuleefa.
Ahmed ben Sulman had 6 sons viz Mohammad, Faad, Sulman, Humood,
Abdul Rugat and Abdul Wahab.
No 4. Sheikh Abdullah ben Ahmed, the Deputy, became Chief after
Sheikh Salman. He had 8 sons viz. Hamad, Mobarek, Nasir, Ahmed,
Mohammed, Ally, Rashid and Hamad.
No 5. Mohamed ben Khuleefa during the lifetime of the above usurped
the Chieftainship from Sheikh Abdullah ben Ahmed and appointed Ally
ben Khuleefa his brother his naqib. Son of Niabd ben Khuleefa 15
sons viz Khuleefa, Ally, Jabir, Selman, Rashid, Hamad, Mubarak,
Abdullah, Abdullah, Ebrahim, Ebrahim, Abdul Azeez, Sultan, Seggun
and Abdul Rahman.
No 6. Again in Mahomed ben Khuleefah's lifetime the rulership
reverted to Sheik Ally ben Khuleefa. He had 12 sons viz Esau,
Ahmed, Khaled, Mansoor, Nasir, Rashid, Daood, Jebr, Khuleefa,
Sehman, Abdullah and Sukhur.
No 7. After All ben Khuleefa, Sheik Esau ben Khuleefa became Chief.
The Arabs have fixed a date for the arrival of Sheikh Khuleefa ben
Mohamed and of his having built the Fort of Moran which came to the
year 1182. After their arrival at Guttur a year elapsed before they
built the Fort of Morair according to the above date it will be 107
years.
Date of the taking of Bahrain is also made out by the Arabs
about the year 1197 and it is now 93 years.
