As previously noted in our weekly email, the bunker project is behind the original schedule. We
have faced several setbacks due to equipment shortages, difficulty getting parts when the
equipment broke down, supply chain issues, and staffing issues which included one third of the
bunker project crew recently being out for ten days due to a Covid outbreak. The good news is
we are definitely picking up momentum. All of the crew has returned and they have added
additional crew members. As we begin the process of overseeding the North Course, we will
have 13 holes we will overseed as we have in past years. We are currently evaluating our options
for holes #12 through 16 and determining how we can accomplish both completing the bunker
project and the course overseeding. We will be making some adjustments to the overseed on
these holes, and are extremely confident we will have a successful overseed as in past years.
Recently we had two changes to our management team. Eric Lyman, Membership Director and
Dave Fischer, Food and Beverage Director have both moved on to pursue new career
opportunities. We wish them the best of luck and thank them for their service to the club. I am
in the process of finding the new team members who will be filling these roles and will notify
the membership as this occurs. In the meantime, should you have any questions regarding
membership or food and beverage, please reach out to myself or to Josh Wilks.
Please join us October 23rd for a fantastic Wine Dinner featuring the wines of the Frank Family
Vineyard. The evening will start with a champagne reception, followed by four courses, each
paired with a different wine. Please see the flyer in the newsletter for more information.
Reservations can be made by emailing jduda@gallerygolf.com
See you at the club.
