The scope of the project is to address two main areas:
1.Improve the playability of the bunkers

a. Reshaping of the bunkers to make them shallower
b. Install new drainage and new bunker liner to keep the sand clean
c. Install new bunker sand

2.Make the bunkers more maintenance friendly
a. Shallower bunkers and less steep faces will be easier to maintain

b. Bunker shaping will reduce high maintenance turf lines making mowing easier

Last month we also had some work done to an irrigation main line on #2 North. An in line
pressure reducing valve was replaced on the main line that provides water for #2. This

valve serves to reduce the pressure coming in to #2 from #3 because the main line dead
ends on the tee end of #2. It has to be reduced as the line runs down hill and because of

the potential for an increase in pressure at the dead end. This spring as the old valve failed
it was stuck only partially open leading to insufficient pressure. Now that the valve has

been replaced the main line is back to proper operating pressure.
