Gallery Members,

We are now in the middle of the summer in the desert, but we have lots of great things

happening. First and foremost, our complete bunker renovation on the North course is
underway. This project will greatly enhance the playability of the course and create a

much-anticipated visual change. The new white sand mixed with the scenic views of
the Canyons will surely be spectacular. I will be working hand in hand with Golf Course

Architect, David L Whelchel on reshaping, lining, and adding new sand to the new
bunkers. David has been in the business for over 35 years and brings a wealth of
knowledge to this project. The project is scheduled to be done by the time we are back

open from overseeding and in time for the Winter Season

Last month we had our first 9 & Wine event with 28 players, and a great gathering in

the members dining room following play. The next one will be July 23rd at 4pm, you
can sign up through Foretees or call the golf shop! Starting Thursday July 8th, we will

she doing an MGA event every other Thursday through November where will then go
back to having it every week
