I hope you are enjoying your summer. As I enter my second month as General Manager of The Gallery
Golf Club, I’d like to again thank you all for the warm welcome you’ve given me. My wife and children
will be joining me here in Arizona this week and I am confident they will be met with the same
kindness and warmth in the community as they settle in. In my experience, that is the Arizonan way. I
am thrilled to be here and excited for the future of the club. We are so fortunate to have both a
fantastic group of Members and an excellent staff —both key to moving the club forward as we enter a
post-pandemic era.
Recently we started the bunker project, opened the Sports Café and have begun hosting additional golf
and dining member events. Our new Executive Chef, John Wooters is on property and already having a
positive impact on the dining experience at the club. On July 10th our new expanded lunch menu will
begin. The menu will include some classic member favorites, as well as a few additional items I am
confident you will enjoy. Be on the lookout in the coming weeks for our new dinner menu and wine list
with delicious wines available by the glass. I hope to see you at Fish Fry Fridays, Prime Rib Night on
July 25th, and a complimentary wine tasting on July 21st.
Lastly, in an effort to streamline communication, we will soon be sending out an email at the beginning
of each week which will include: general club updates, member events for the week, announcements on
newly scheduled future events looking ahead, daily dining specials, and any additional pertinent
information in regards to the club. I know you get many emails, but my hope that you’ll take a moment
to read The Gallery Golf Club weekly email as you begin your week, and that it serves as a useful tool
for getting the most out of your club membership.
I encourage you to call, email, or stop by and see me should you have any comments or suggestions. I
truly appreciate all input and find it instrumental in improving the member experience.
