Despite the monsoons, August was a great month at The Gallery. The bunker project is moving
forward and due to the additional crew we are still on schedule to open the North course after
the scheduled fall overseed. The golf course and grille were busy with member play and fun
dining events. September looks to be even better with a Labor Day BBQ, Wine Tasting, Wine
and Nine, and several themed dinners.
Over the last few weeks I have had discussions with several members regarding the pond on 18
South. We are looking for a solution for the dead reed removal as we are unable to perform this
project internally. I will continue to keep the membership updated as we resolve this situation.
Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to remind members to please fix ball marks, rake
bunkers, and fill your divots. If you are a smoker, please do not throw cigar or cigarette butts on
the ground. Additionally, please be responsible for your guests and explain to them our rules
prior to teeing off. Every morning Noah and his staff prep the course for member play. After the
first group tees off it is up to the Members using the course to make sure the course remains at
its best. Please leave the course for your fellow members as you would like them to leave it for
you.
See you at the club.
