PAPWORTH CUP

Throughout the year, there are four opportunities for Houses to earn points towards the Papworth Cup at House Swimming Carnival, House
Athletics, House Cross Country, and MADD Day. The Papworth Cup is named after Salesian, Fr. John Papworth who was a long-standing Principal of
our College throughout the 90s and 2000s.
We have a very strong house culture, which leads to very competitive spirit at each of the House events. This year’s competitions were very close
with a different house winning each one; O’Grady were victorious in the Swimming, Naughton in the Athletics, Colliton were the victors at MADD
Day, while Bunjil took out the Cross Country.
This made the final standings of the Fr. Papworth Cup very close. After some crosschecking of scores, our congratulations goes to O’Grady House
who were awarded the Fr. Papworth Cup at the final assembly for the Year 12s.
