  Execution
  Raise  your  upper  body  slowly  and  don’t  develop  any
  momentum so that the entire motion is controlled by your
  abdominal  muscles.  Turn  to  the  left  and  to  the  right
  before  you  lower  your  upper  body.  Don’t  rest  your  body
  on  the   oor  but  rather  repeat  the  exercise  to  ensure
  continued muscle tension.

  Variants
  You can intensify the exercise by holding a medicine ball
  or a weight disc in your hands. The exercise can also be
  done on an exercise ball.
