CEEM BRANDING
Why Re-brand
In our evelotuion to define CEEM as an economic cooperative committed to helping
African-Americans create wealth through uniting our efforts and investing in Black-owned
ventures. CEEM provides support, counseling, and leadership development for entrepreneurs
and individual network members to close the racial wealth gap and improve economic
outcomes for the Black community. We participated in a process to create and design a
logo/icon which we hoped to the best brand that represents our Core Values, Mission,
Vision and Efforts to fulfill our aforementioned goals. After much evaluation, we concluded
that our prior logo needed further embellishments that re-design our logo to be a symbol
to optimally communicate and represent CEEM as memorable brand.
We believe that our logo now best symbolizes CEEM. In the logo/icon design, we have
a Tree-Foundation with Helping Hands that represents; Assisting, Supporting and Promoting
growth amongst our African-American Businesses and Community at large.
