Of course you don't have to use the fonts exclusively for webpages, because the fonts
are TrueType they can also be used with any print document - a PDF for example.
If you send another Designer Pro user a .xar or .web file containing a Google font then
they will be asked upon loading the document whether they wish to download and install
the font.
Note: some browsers do not render Google fonts as effectively as others, so it's always a
good idea to test your webpages with a variety of browsers to ensure the font quality is
acceptable.
Font replacement
It’s often useful to be able to completely replace one font with another across your entire
document or website, especially if you don’t have a particular font installed and want to
replace it with a font you do have.
In the Text Tool (on page 209) just right-click in the text with the font you want to replace
and choose the REPLACE FONT WITH … option from the context menu.
All variants of the font are replaced across your document, each with the matching
variant and size of your chosen font.
Symbols
The symbols are a huge range of scalable icons which are regularly updated as new
ones become available. Consisting of both Font Awesome symbols and Google Material
Design Icons - you can either insert them into text as a character font or insert them into
your document as a standalone graphic.
The symbols are divided into various categories such as Web Application Icons, Brand
Icons, Text Editor Icons, Directional Icons and so on, and can be found on the INSERT
