Dear Lost Lake Woods Neighbors, Friends, and Guests,

It’s Freezing outside but Real Estate in most parts of our beautiful state of Michigan, is
sizzling. However, many areas did not have enough homes for sale, with buyers find-
ing themselves competing against multiple offers. The prices overall have increased
about 10% in most areas over this past year. This market is ideal for the “baby boom-
ers” selling down state at top dollars and then heading north to buy where prices re-
main balanced.

Although Northeast Michigan did not realize a 10% increase in values, it was great to
see the increase in home sales in both Lost Lake Woods and the surrounding area.

While the local licensed associates and Realtors are gearing up for the 2018 season,
we anticipate more attraction to Lost Lake Woods Club and if we can improve the in-
ventory of homes available, we expect sales to increase to the highest ever, another
record breaking year is planned for 2018. Fortunately the dues increase was passed
so that members can trust we can continue to support our amenities, assuring the val-
ue of our club, especially our home values.

We are dedicated to keeping you informed and would be happy to answer any
questions you, your friend, or a family member may have when it comes to real estate
