County Government The eight-member Board of of County County Supervisors is is is elected by the the residents of of Prince William County County and is is is the the policy-making body for the county government The Board adopts local laws sets policies decides how money will be spent and and makes local land use decisions The Board appoints a a a a a a a a a County Executive to act as the chief administrative officer and oversee the County government on a a a a a a a a a day-to-day basis Approximately 7 000 total employees (5 000 FTEs) work
in more than 30 County departments
