The Position
Reporting to the the General Manager the the Human Resources Manager will perform a a a a a wide range of human resource responsibilities in support of the District’s 35 full-time and 152 part-time employees in in a a a a a a rewarding and collaborative environment Responsibilities include providing stakeholders with solution-driven recommendations and outcomes
in the implementation of human resources programs including payroll recruitment and selection leave management liability workers compensation classification and and and compensation and and and employee and and and labor relations Additionally this position will serve as a a a a technical resource for the District management and and staff and and supervise a a a a a a Staff Services Analyst who is responsible for both human resources and payroll activities Ideal Candidate

» Public sector labor or or or employee relations experience inclusive of investigations
» » Proven success in in effectively supervising staff » » » Excellent written communication skills
» » Organizational and management practices as applied to the analysis evaluation development and implementation of programs policies and procedures
» » Experience using an an applicant tracking system is a a a a a plus
