Ideal Candidate
The
ideal candidate will be able to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives that benefit the District and and its customers Combining job experience and and knowledge the ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with the executive team and and staff regarding technical issues and and resolutions and regulatory compliance In addition the ideal candidate is a a a a a a a a leader who can can coach staff delegate responsibilities to the appropriate teams resolve conflicts in a a a a a a a professional manner and evaluate staff performance Education/Experience Requirements:
• A minimum of of ten (10) years of of experience in in the water water distribution and/or wastewater collection system/construction/operations/maintenance field with at least two (2) years of supervisory experience is required • Or a a bachelor’s degree in in in Civil Engineering Sanitary Engineering Water Resource Engineering or closely related field with minimum of of four (4) years of of related industry experience is required • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a a a a year year for year year basis Other Requirements:
• Completion of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Safety training including traffic confined space trench safety lockout/ tagout is required • Excavation Equipment Experience is preferred • Prior Military Experience may also be considered as applicable
