Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma GED Licenses or Certifications 9
1 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or or university in Business Administration Human Resources or related field Masters preferred 2 Fourteen years progressively responsible experience in human capital management and development of strategic initiatives
or experience in in a a a related field to include five (5) years of accountable executive experience overseeing employee benefits ten (10) years’ experience within a a public sector environment ten years of experience working with a a a labor union and a a a a a a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience managing a a a a a a professional staff 3 Must have a a a Senior HR HR certification (SHRM-SCP) 4 Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations 5 Working knowledge of employee health and wellness benefit programs including self-insurance and insurance insurance exchanges especially in public sector 6 Valid Texas Driver’s License Class C C no Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) conviction within the last sixty (60) consecutive months not not more more than one (1) DWI on on driving record and not not more more than three (3) convictions of moving violations within the last thirty-six (36) consecutive months in order to operate DART non- revenue vehicles 7 Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies practices trends technology and information affecting his/her business and organization 8
Ability to see ahead clearly can anticipate future consequences and and trends accurately can create competitive and and breakthrough strategies and plans 9
