Governor’s Office of State Planning & Budgeting The Governor’s Office of of of State Planning and and and Budgeting (OSPB) advises the the the Governor Governor on complex budget budget and and and and policy issues OSPB OSPB OSPB manages all all aspects of of of of the the the state’s budget budget and and and and seeks to to leverage it fit to to the the the benefit of of of of all all Coloradans OSPB OSPB believes that diverse teams produce better results and and and and encourage people of of of of a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a variety of of of of backgrounds and qualifications to apply The The The Office is is recruiting for a a a a a a a a a a a a Chief Chief of of of Federal Federal Funds Funds The The The Chief Chief of of of Federal Federal Funds Funds (CFF) is is a a a a a a a a a a a a fundamental role within Colorado’s planning and and and implementation of of of stimulus funding funding and and and investments to to support Colorado Colorado The The The CFF CFF will work in in in in in direct partnership with Governor’s Office teams and and and agencies to to successfully oversee federal funding funding The The CFF CFF will will design and and implement processes to manage American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds funds that align
and and coordinate coordinate with with the the existing State budget process process process The The CFF CFF will will work with with federal funds funds analysts embedded in in in in in other OSPB OSPB teams to ensure a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a coordinated process process that includes a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a specific focus on on Evidence-Based Policy (EBP) and and Equity Diversity and and Inclusion (EDI) The role will work closely with with OSPB OSPB leadership leadership Governor’s Office Office Office leadership leadership Recovery Officers embedded within the the the the the agencies receiving the the the the the most federal funds the the the the the Office Office Office of the the the the the State Controller and and other other state departments to to to ensure compliance reporting and and spending plans are adhered to to to in in in in in in in accordance with with with federal guidelines The CFF will work with with with other other teams within the the the Governor’s Office to to to answer press inquiries conduct stakeholder outreach and produce public-facing documents As a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a part part of of management of of federal federal federal funds funds the the the the CFF will oversee estimation tracking reporting and presenting
