Specific Responsibilities
» Develop process and and communication to to agencies agencies regarding federal funds including guidance to to agencies agencies and and OSPB analysts » Liaison with the the Governor’s Office Office & Office Office of of State Controller (OSC) including OSC’s hiring of of outside compliance assistance and and coordinated work to ensure funds are being being spent spent tracking how they’re being being spent spent administrative needs grant management and and development of required reports » Coordinating federal federal funds funds analysts from other OSPB teams to provide statewide analysis on the the the following: • How ARPA funds funds received by departments are allocated (federal fund fund fund spend plans) and how they interact
with the department’s annual budget • Make recommendations to to to the the the the Governor Governor and and OSPB Director on on the the the the use of federal funds to to to support the the the the Governor’s and departmental priorities • • Understand Understand how much of of the the the ARPA ARPA funds funds a a a a a a a a a a a a a department department has received have been spent • • Understand Understand whether the the the intended or or or actual allocation of of ARPA ARPA funds funds complies with with federal guidance and and and aligns with Governor’s priorities • Be able to to answer questions regarding all ARP funds related to to their departments » Integrating federal funds into OSPB’s standard budget process process and and pursuing process process improvements to to improve improve the efficiency of this integration
» Integrating Evidence Based Policy and and Equity Diversity and and Inclusion in in in in in in federal federal fund fund spending including supporting the rigorous evaluation of federal fund programs
» Support future development of federal federal federal funds funds planning and and implementation including assessing options to maximize federal federal federal funds funds funds preparing for for larger federal federal federal spending bills and and identifying opportunities for for additional expansion of funds funds » Train agencies and and OSPB OSPB analysts on reporting requirements requirements grant management management and and any other requirements requirements needed for OSPB OSPB management of funds
