What’s Causing the Stir?
“Sir, can you tell me what spurs the squirrels to stir? I’ve never seen
them so busily whir. They’re like a blur. Nor have I heard them so
noisily chirr. They jump about the oaks and firs as though their coats
have thistles and burs.”
The man replied to her, “Does it not occur to you that you can no longer
hear a cat purr ? Don’t you know that there is a high price on fur, even
the fur of a cur ? Now answer, what should a squirrel infer seeing your
coat of rabbit fur?”

Herbal Tea
Miss Lee couldn’t curb her yearning for this tea superb, as says the
blurb. And because her stomach is easy to disturb, as is her smile to
perturb, to buy it Herb would travel to the city from miles beyond the
suburb, somewhere in the exurb.
But Herb, who grew tired of traveling, now grows the herb between his
sidewalk and the county curb.
