FLIPBOOKS
There are two kinds:
• One kind has neither a printing nor a read-out-loud
or function. (TRWRR is an example of this kind.)
• The other kind allows users to print out pages and
to select text and have it read out loud with the
free Natural Reader.
Besides the commercial nature of doing business to
generate revenue, the reason we offer two or three
different flipbooks of each product is due to the fact
that electronic readers, although quite good, are incapable
of pronouncing every word correctly. In fact, they
mispronounce perhaps five percent of the words they
utter. (One mispronounced word, in and of itself, is enough
to put off an aspiring student trying to learn.) In point of
fact, TRWRR in its original form, having many words
broken into syllables for ease of sounding out, is woefully
inappropriate to be read electronically. Hence, the book
had to be broken down into its several parts and
reformatted. The stories needed to be formatted in two
ways: one way, for electronic readers and the other way
for narration. (The narrated stories cannot be read
correctly by electronic readers.)
