The Stooge
When the number of deaths in Viet Nam became huge, our President Nixon
(1968-1974) could find no refuge.
We made him into our stooge. For everything, past and present, we criticized
him in a deluge. We said he should have been more like a Scrooge. And we said he
wasted money and men and covered up with political rouge and subterfuge.
