The Brave Squire
In Great Britain, in a town shire, in a great mansion with a huge spire, works a
squire for a lady much higher.
He always dresses in be•fit•ting at•tire and works without tire though he doesn’t
per•spire even when mending miles of fence wire.
He has forded his lady across muddy mire and he has saved her prized sire from a
barn fire.
Now he’s her heart’s de•sire, while she’s his passion fire. Soon he shall as•pire to
the rank es•quire, and then marry and likely re•tire.
